Talking things through can help to identify any potential solutions to any concerns you may have. Thrive
Who are Thrive?
The Thrive Team is a new group of local community mental health services that address a number of mental health issues in people over 18 years of age. The team comprises of:
- Support Workers
- Mental Health Nurses
- Occupational Therapists
- Social Workers
What do they do?
The Thrive team work together using practical and solution-focused support to help address the impact of mental health issues a person is experiencing to help improve their quality of life. Their excellent and comprehensive website has a wealth of information support and directory of resources.
Thrive offer weekly drop-in sessions where you can receive support face-to-face.
Hope Park Counselling Services
Hope Park Counselling Centre, attached to University of Edinburgh, offers face-to-face and online counselling sessions. Hope Park offers generic counselling services, covering a variety of topics.
This is a donation-based service and a donation of £2-£35 is encouraged per session to help fund this service.
